By admin | May 23, 2009

Every part of abs is equally important when a person is trying to get in shape and go for six packs. There are different areas of abs that require special targeting. Six pack abs workout makes sure that every area is properly trained.

The upper abs can be toned by simple exercises like crunches. Reverse crunches can be done for lower abs. To solidify the core of the abs, planks are extremely effective. Also side planks are equally effective for the core. For the edges, riding the bicycle and crossover crunches can prove to be beneficial.

Also if possible one should try to make more reps. It helps to increase the endurance level and provide you a lean body. Weights can be lifted if you are looking for more stiffness and size. Make sure you have ample break between consecutive sets. There is no point of working out in haste. The prime purpose of the exercises is to burn the calories and increase the intensity of the body. As you become more and more comfortable with the reps and sets, go ahead and increase them. Accept the challenge of the weights. Always keep yourself motivated and never ever lose confidence.
